Clwyd West is one of the most diverse constituencies in the country, comprising a highly populated, urban coastal strip and a rural interior.
Some of the finest scenery anywhere in Britain can be found here, most notably the Vale of Clwyd, with the historic market town of Ruthin at its heart.
Clwyd West Conservatives are people from all walks of life, from all age groups and both Welsh- and English-speaking. We are at the centre of the community, working hard to relay the Conservative message and values to the people of Clwyd West, its towns and villages. We are an expanding Association and are both politically and socially active.
In the General Election of 2005 we succeeded in recapturing the constituency and returning David Jones as Clwyd West's Member of Parliament a feat we repeated in 2007 with the election of Darren Millar to the Welsh Assembly.
Outside election time, we have a wide selection of social events for all tastes. We also have an active Conservative Future branch, for members in their teens and twenties.
